Wouldn't it make more sense to do a film in that era, but not based off the games? Like maybe about what happened to Revan and the Exile or something like that? I think that if they got a decent director and cast, they could pull it off

I think the cast is obvious.

Samuel L. Jackson will play every single role in the film, and even some that aren't in the film. The film will be five minutes long, and mostly consist of him getting irrationally angry at minor annoyances like the fact that they did in fact make a Kotor film. It will also consist of exactly two minutes of mind blowing cinematic ass-kickery ass there are twenty Samuel L. Jacksons on screen fighting each other, thirty instances of the now tired and overused "I've had it with all these mother****ing *blanks* in this mother****ing *blank*" line, and exactly thirty five seconds worth of sincere apology from him in completely innapropriate setting on behalf of the filmmakers for ruining the franchise with yet another sub par film. Though the whole thing may seem incredibly insanely awesome...I can assure you, even something so awesome as this could not breathe any life back into the franchise, nor would you be able to do anything better for Kotor...it's a fantastic game, and an incredible story...take one look at farcry, max payne, or any other great game turned into a film. It doesn't matter how it's made, by whom, etc. you'll never like the results. You'll sit there getting more and more angry as every subtle thing about the characters or story that you filled in with your imagination and creativity in the game is smashed to pieces and some mediocre stand in is made "canon".

Never fear, Lucas would never consent to making any film...if he won't release SW on blu ray...why the hell would he further taint his reputation by ruining the story in the universe some more?
