Well, this is the first time I have heard someone say Star Wars is not about Jedi/Sith tradition.
Most people I know love Star Wars because of this, and actually it is the only thing that separates it from other storylines like Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica.
Personaly, I love the philosophy in Star Wars, it is the only thing I haven't found in any other space opera, save perhaps, Dunes.

I'm actually tired at the entire sith/jedi hassle being in the centerpoint.
Come on, it's not like the force was strong or something.
Sure I don't mind a jedi in the story, like in the medbase duology. I just detest them being constantly in the mainlight.
Would you trust me, I hated Kotor one for a while after dantooine - I wanted to continue being a darned scoundrel not a good for nothing sentinel.
And anyone remember the adventures of starkiller? That was supposed to be the first version of SW - good bindu force or something
And stormtroopers had the glow sticks.
Maybe they forgot to retrain to blasters.
thanks God and G. Lucas wife, this version was never filmed. After he finished the new version ( with Luke Skywalker ), she had to re-cut the movie because the version Mr. Lucas made was crap.
And what happened? What is Star Wars now?
Do you think the "Original" version, with Mr. Starkiller and a Millenium Falcon that looks like the shuttles from " Space 1999" and a lot of other things, would have been a world-wide succes? I don't think so.
No matter what G. lucas intentions have been in the first place the facts are:
The story is from the beginning with Jedi/ Sith - Ben ( Obi-Wan ) Kenobi, who told Luke that his father was a JEDI, after the Death of Owen and Beru Luke decided to with Ben, to become a JEDI.
Darth Vader is the Lord of the Sith. I'm not sure that it was the plan, that Palpatine is a Sith too, well, if you are a powerful, vicious Lord of the Sith, would you serve or would you rule?
Star Wars is: the fall of the Jedi Order and the Rise of the Empire ( Ep1-3 ) and the fall of the Empire and the Rise of the New Republic/ Jedi Order.
Would you trust me, I hated Kotor one for a while after dantooine - I wanted to continue being a darned scoundrel not a good for nothing sentinel.
Then be a good-for-nothing Consular. Consulars suck in my opinion. Hell, Guardians aren't that great either. But you don't have to use Force Powers. I only tend to use Force Kill, no matter what my alignment.

Yeah, if those are the Empire's best soldiers, I have a feeling that the worst soldiers would probably be unable to, as Jos from Medstar says, "hit the broad side of a Destroyer... from the inside."
'And lo, Jade struck down the evil-doers and restored peace to this Canon. But the Mary Sues would strike again...' The Book of Jade 32:15
'Unleashing your imagination requires an imagination to unleash.'
simple fact is...the light saber because theres no cross hair for blaster(and u cant controll fire etc) but thats y u play other games like star wars jedi commader i think it is...pro at it
