Gizka, pointless, or not?
 

I was talking to someone today and they said that there must be a purpose to the gizka and I thought about it and it made sense. There was no clear direction as to what to do, and it feels like one of those things in video games that seem very insignificant, but actually have a purpose. Anyone know if they do anything or have any ideas?

Anyone who says Gizka are pointless should also agree that scenery is pointless, since you can't get items or XP from chairs or potted plants. =p

I don't know...I dont think gizka jave too much purpose...but it is fun too keep them in the ebon hawk! lol.:lol:

I enjoyed feeding them poison and watching them kill eachother, then die from the poison.

An Anti Anti Gizka Group is a group against people who don't like Gizka. And Gizka are more of a shade of brown anyways.

Why gizka is im KoTOR : The gizkas on ebon hawk are the rats or coacroaches in ur house, otherwise they have cute barking whatever and they r lovely for a sith lord even!

Gizka is the best pet any sith lord can have, it's on sith academy test if anyone noticed. Purpose of gizka was to show you there are mines on ratatan planet. But I think gizkas are there anyway so... they have more like funny purpose.

Lol, the first time I played KotOR I had no idea what to do with them, and so I reluctantly fed one of them the Gizka Poison. I watched as the Gizka hopped away to another Gizka, then killed it. Then the infected Gizka hopped off to a third one... and the third Gizka killed the infected one LOL.

So I left the ship, figuring I'd need a whole lot more poison, I bought about 10 units, and came back to see the ship Gizka free somehow, even though the infected Gizka was killed.

But pointless? Nah. I use the Cati Gizka mod for TSL, hehe.

and also there should be a mod that lets you keep a pet gizka (instead of using KSE to turn a party member into one ;) )

It's a mod for TSL, that gives Mandalore a pet Gizka named Cati who relentlessly follows him around, who does use melee attacks on enemies. Princess Artemis created the mod. A puppet, like Bao-Dur's remote, except for Ordo. Also, it allows you the option of removing or keeping on Mandalore's helmet, as well as equipping other armor/clothing. (Although his appearance never changes)

It's based off of a Fanfic I think... I don't really read fanfics much, but I thought hey, the mod might make me actually use Mandalore in TSL lol. You can find it on Artemis's Telosian Archives site, or on LucasFiles.

So its agreed that killing them is plenty fun enough!
