Spawning swarming cops
 

i hate it the way cops spawn every where and just materilise out of thin air. they are everywhere! not even your mansion is safe from the constant onslaught of respawning coppers:moon:

I love trying to take them on in their own station :p I made a short film about that one time!

But yeah, it sucks, not very life like (but then again, when is GTA meant to be life like)

Well it kinda is considering u can do about everything lol. At least in San Andreas u can. :)

Yeah each time I go inside the station I forget about the no weapons rule and sure enough I am in a fight for my life lol...

when i read the title of this thread, i thought it was the exact same thing that i came here to post. but it turns out it isn't.



i thought this was talking about when you spawn a rhino tank, u get inside it, and u get a star for stealing a tank.:uhm:

I just wish that they would come from the nearest police station, it's much more realistic. In real life you don't tend to have twenty police cars patrolling a few seconds away from every crime scene.

Yeah yer right there.. Whats funny thou is when yer flying the jet pack and as yer going along you see like a line of them lol, just running there asses off towards you outta no where..

i think that your gang members should at least keep them out of your mansion, it really pisses me off when you are going up to get the chopper when you suddenly find that the stairs are blocked by a group of cops, who, looking dumstruck, attempt to run through the walls or turn round and start taking pot shots at youhttp://forums.filefront.com/images/smilies/akimbo.gif

Ya, but if you get ur guns to hitman its soo eZ to kill them, i only need 1 shot and i kill a guy, practice with M4, its the best :)

Pointless. I use the minigun. Once you've gotten 100% you have unlimited ammo. Remember, the more cops and SWAT and FBI, Army that you kill, the higher your media and criminal ratings go so the more the better. Speaking of media level, who else here has gotten "Stuff of Legends" as their highest media attention?

It can indeed be very annoying, but I try to make the best of the situation. I would find myself a fast car and go on a joyride all around the city, causing the cops to crowd and disorient eachother as they desperately try to keep up with me. Eventually they become so dispersed, disorganized or slow that I have time to head into the mansion or wherever there is the nearest wanted level reducer.

It can be quite hilarious, as in one case where I led around 3 to 5 police cars over the bridge from Starfish Island to Little Havana and turned right, sending the frenzied cops careening and barrel rolling across the street behind me. :lol:

Yeah, for me that sort of brings back memories of the Survival Level of the original Driver game.

The cops seem to come from no where in driver also didnt they lol... What took me time was when my wanted level was all the way up and the tanks were on me, tryingn ot to get hit and blow up was a real challange lol... One hit in vice city and you were toast.....

I got Stuff Of Legends once. 1960 Media Points. I stood on tope of the manion with a minigun and took out EVERYTHING, lept down to the ground, grabbed a Stinger, ran back up to the roof(grabbing a handy armor and health along teh way) and repeated until I ran out of heavy weapons. Then I stole the Rhino that was in the best shape and went rampaging. Eh-hehehe... The worst thing was that I got shot twice in the back by cops spawning by the chopper on the roof. Bastards.

For getting away from cop cars, I grab one of those Porsche 911 looking sports cars(the roofless ones) and drive like hell away from the swarm of cops. I literally skimmed by spike strips by mere in game inches, looked back and saw six cops get four flats each from them. It was great.

Whats even more annoying is how quickly cars disappear. All you do is face the opposite direction of your car, then look back and its gone.
