Guests...

There are more guests on the JK3 files than anywhere else, I think. anyway just trying to persuade the guests to make accounts. You can go here to make an account, just have to be over 13 and know how to type.

This thread is most likely doomed to be removed from existence *shudders*
I am glad that Averus is not a moderator.

I noticed the same thing. That just proves that JA , despite it`s age , still rules. Many newer games don`t attract half as attention as JA. Just because some game is old , it doesn`t mean it`s bad. Personally , I would love to play Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight again despite the fact it`s superold , lol. Alas , it keeps crashing when I try to load a save game. :bawl: Ok , gone a bit off topic here , hehehe...

Usually people who don't participate in a forum don't get to be moderators, so you have nothing to worry about.

Can I be the Moderator then? I wouldn`t mind helping out around here when I can.

I've learned in the Years i am in the Internet Buis that you need more then just 4 Months being in a Forum ;)

I see. Well , like I said , I wouldn`t mind helping around here , if needed. :)

Asking never helps either.

As for people still playing JA... I think the reason is simple.. name newer multiplayer game where the primary weapon is a lightsaber. There is none. JA is simply the latest game where you can be a Jedi (besides SWBF2, but let's face it, it wasn't really designed for Jedi/Sith). I definitely wouldn't say that it "rocks", especially without modifications.

That's not necessarily true. I joined in March and I think I was a moderator by May. This forum doesn't need another moderator, though, which is the difference; when I became a moderator it was because the previous moderator was promoted to super moderator.

Asking usually isn't a good way to become one, though.

Expressing deep and endless love for Iny however, is an acceptable course. I used this technique in the past and was very successful until the pepper sprat got in my eyes and I was consequently blinded by the sheer beauty which lay just beyond the haze. The Judge ordering me to stay at least 1000 feet away didn't help either.

While appreciated, that won't help you any being as how I'm not a forum administrator.

*Inyri tires of saying that.

But by being a former Supermod (or is there still green under your blue tights?), and a Network Admin, I'm sure that your opinion (if offered) carries some weight when a Moderator is chosen.

I don't think it is, tbh. :p

If you became like after 1 month a moderator, then i guess you showed great interest in the community, the Staff saw potentical in you and your fade was chosen :deal:. (I love the last sentence XD)

We could start an online petition.;)

Did you post a lot before you became a mod?
I do; though only 1% of my posts are helpful, 5% make no sense, and 94% of my posts have no reason to be posted. Then the extra ten percent is made to make me seem like a noob.
you could always tell dreadnaught that we will stop bugging him if he make you a forum admin...

I'm the only member active right now, except for Kouen and 29 guests...

Dear lord it's true. 56 guests peeking at us right now. Isn't that just a tad creepy?

As far as I can tell it's very difficult to work your way up to modship on purpose. It takes a certain charm in my opinion. There are members who are just meant to have bigger and more colorful names than others. They belong, and if you can't match Stalker's or pre-supermod Inyri's sense of humour and charisma then enjoy your dull black name. You can also apply for network staff, that's a bit easier, and the colors are there!

But this is a power thing isn't it?

I still have a sense of humor.

Just not here anymore. It's been beaten out of me.

I helped people. That is why I was approached to be a moderator when Donovan was promoted.

 Dread would not make me an admin. I'm quite happy where I am, to be honest.

vBulletin has an aneurysm every time Iny so much as glances in the Admin CP link's general direction. =P

Re: Guests...

Kouen, as far as I'm concerned there is no ACP link, so I can't look in its general direction. Nice try at a burn though. :)

Re: Guests...

Um, speak english?
I understand part of that.
Now Kouen is supposed to have some sort of witty comeback. (If you don't mind me saying so.)
EX.
Kouen: What do you mean try?
Kouen: Um, ya, just testing you.
Kouen: (Some witty remark)
Kouen: Speer, seems to have problem's:giggle:

Re: Guests...

No witty comeback, just a misunderstanding.

Our dear friend Melissa seems to have mistaken my direct accusation of incompetence in the field of PHP-based content management systems as an attempt at a burn. :clueless:

That is irrelevent. LOL whoa it is creepy, guests!!!! Most guests though, are members who do not have time or are do not care about logging in until they see the progress of a thread that they posted in/made. my friend does that on forums. :D
