JK2... before that, I was a Trek fan who was, traditionally, against everything with glowing sticks in. But I was a gamer, and when a game gets 90+% in every review, you have to try it. THen the movies came on TV, then I bought the Ep2 DVD, then I went on the web, and now I love every minute of it.

Finally... A Star Trek fan became a Star Wars one. This is indeed something to celebrate. :D

hey, cool, +Star+Wars+!!! see? we have so much in common!! ;) j/k
yeah, growing up with star wars as early as possible is the best education a child can have:agreed:

my dad showed me ahn when i was six. i even know the exact date. 21.11.1994.....ah, these days. i can remeber me and my older brother beating each other up with luke's green and vader's red (kenner-toys of course) lightsaber.
btw, i have a large starwars collection, i'm still collecting EVERYTHING from starwars, nearly like steve sanswet (ok, not that much..) 'bout 200 figures, 20 crafts , every sw-O.S.T., lightsabers, posters, nearly every sw-game on every system, statues, mousepads, cups and dishes, toothbrushes, pepsi bootles with stickers, every toy from these cornflakes

...and, the pices i'm most proud of: My dad gave me his very own starwars-movies, he bought about 1980!!! the original ones, like they have in the cinemas! (i don't know the word now... ) .

[fire=4]P.S.: anyone from germany or europe near germany who would sell me his SOTE-"Outrider" would get everything from me! it's the only one i don't have yet (i think) and, at least it's my favourite sw-craft!![/fire]

you are VERY cool Raitenks!!! That's how it has to be!! Have you got cool lightsabers??

The Raitenks May 25th, 2003 10:57 AM

my favourite is luke's green lightsaber for 299$, it's real metal and very detailed. the rest is all just kenner-plastic

RaSiN_HeCk May 25th, 2003 11:07 AM

I don't remember exactly, I think my dad was watching it so I started watching it too.

thenmy Dad got me the original Triology for Christmas then I was a hard core fan

still don't have the special effects triology = /

For me, STAR WARS blew my mind. I absolutely loved it. But just a fun sort of silly movie. Then the industry got too serious. And THEN, with these new movies, I've completely lost interest in every aspect of Star Wars except for this game (and now Academy:D). Lucas just ruined his sh^t.

Strangely enough, it was the Lightsabers that attracted me to Star Wars when I was a child. Powerful glowing swords they are, and sounded and looked cool with the Jedi fighting with 'em! That's what I at least thought as a kid, and in a way still do. :p Another reason is Episode 1. I began losing interest in the mid-1990s of Star Wars, getting into other sci-fi and stuff. When I watched Episode 1, it re-ignited my interest. :) So I voted for Ep. 1 but if I could, I'd also vote for Other...
