yes it is all the opinion and the way you look at it. no i don't have a religion, but i do believe in something, just haven't figured it out yet. i think the whole religion thing is stupid, but i don't want to start to argue about that here, cuz i could write pages about it. but there must be something out there. i mean there are sooo many stystems. and we don't even know how big the universe is. if we haven't explored all of it, how can we say there is no other lifeform. i don't believe that some aliens are gonna come down here and kill us all, but there is something. the chances that they come to our planet are just so slim because of the size of the universe. and they might seek peace?! who knows. |
This is something that bothers me... why is it that thopse scientists always thing that there MUST be oxygen or water or some other things WE need for OTHER life to survive? "Oh, this planet doesn't have a drop of water, has hardly any oxygen, blah, blah, therefore, I conclude there is no life on this planet." What makes them think THOSE things are required? Oh... ErDb33rjOgHuRt, can you help be rate the older threads as well? Possible to rate almost all new posts since this forum doesn't get thousands of new posts each day, this is quite possible, isn't it? oh man that makes sense. life doesnt neccesarily have to have water or a stable atmosphere. thats good ill make sure to watch for that one next time im arguing about it lol |
Yea its true, how can we assume that they need water and oxygen if we haven't explored everything, i mean there could be nearly everything possible. Hmm strange, do you think some other lifeform already came to our planet and observed us?? Or just flew by? |
Mabey we are being spied on by them, like we were created by them, like sims or something. With the universe being billions and billions of light-years across, there has to be AT LEAST bacteria out there, if not other civilizations. Wouldnt it be ironic if someday we are visited by human-oid forms that have some kind of hyperspace travel, and in 25,000 years, there is a death star? Lol, j/k. |

What we see in Star/trek or star wars, maybe isn't so far from the reality as we think. 100 years ago nobody could imagine a computer. i don't think they even thought about it. so maybe there will be somebody with a great invention like a hyperdrive or a lightsaber?! we just don't think about it. thats what the future is, you never know whats commin, and thats why it is so exciting. i mean there could be a star wars already out there. there already could be jedi fighting against the sith. man you could assume sooo much. man i wanna live forever so i can catch all that, that'd cool!!! |

yea and u notice that about the time the crash in roswel computers stated poping up. ppl thought it was tech stripped from the craft :agreed: |
Well, I do believe there is life out there somewhere . I mean, the universe is over 99 quadrillion light-years across, with over a few trillion galaxies, with more stars than we can count, there at least has 2 be bacteria out there, if not a whole colonized galaxy. Now, I am not one of those ppl who are like an Area 51 escapee who are going around, saying "The aliens are coming!!!", who lives in a shack with 100 cats who is paranoid about the government spying on them, i am just a 15 year old high-school student who just thinks that by pure chance and stastics, there has to be something else out there :borg:, if not whole other civilizations.:agreed: Also, why would they want 2 take over us? :assimilate: Every movie shows aliens coming here to take over the planet. WHy would they travel 90 billion light years to start a fight? |
