DS-Online password creation Hi, I just got DS-Online, and everything seems to work, except for 1 problem--I don't know how to set my own password! I looked for a .cfg file, a tutorial, a text file, ANYTHING that could tell me how to set my own password, but nothing. Does anybody here know how to do this? |
Re: DS-Online password creation Figuring your hosting your own server. Your admin passwords as well as other mod functionality is set in the DS-Online.cfg. It's more or less a second portion to your server.cfg. Now you might ask why it was setup like this. That's just how the developer did it. More or less makes it so that all mod features are in 1 set text and main base features are in there own set text aka server.cfg. Setup to run both just simply put this at the end of the target path. +set fs_game DS-Online +exec server.cfg +exec DS-Online.cfg |
Re: DS-Online password creation ...yeah. How do I set up MY OWN, CUSTOM PASSWORD? |
Re: DS-Online password creation Go into the ds-online.cfg and put in your admin passes that can be useable ingame. Read what I already posted, it's not hard. :uhm: |
Re: DS-Online password creation Okay...well, I didn't really see anything, sorry. But I DID see this: Quote:
Did I find the right one? :/ *EDIT* OOPS! No. I looked in the server.cfg instead of the ds-online.cfg. I found it, and I got it right. Thanks! :) Oh, and BTW, how do I get it to display a message when someone is slapped/punished/given terminator or emp? |
Re: DS-Online password creation :smack: All server related functions are held in the .cfg's. Simply read through. Or if your lazy and just skim which won't surprise me. In the DS-Online.cfg contains the motd. Or just do ctrl+f in notepad and search for this. seta g_dsMOTD "" Between the brackets put in your motd that displays when people connect. All messages are contained at the bottom of the DS-Online.cfg. Put in what you want it to say when someone get's slapped and all that fun admin irc style abuse stuff. |
Re: DS-Online password creation K, thanks man. I'm not too lazy, just a bit confused. Not anymore, thanks. Except...what does the "broad" part mean in seta g_dsProtectBroadMsg "" ? |
