Default Gettin ****** off at multi

Everyone seems to be able to one hit me with the backwards red or yellow attacks. Then they use that stupid spinny thing where they tunr up their sensitivity and hit me ten times. Of course, when I tried it... Couldn't hit them once.
Also the attack where you flip over their head and do some swipes, they can hit me with that one, but I can't hit them.
What am I doing wrong? I ahve been able to kill in the superior duel system in SP, but MP duels are not nearly as strategic.. just kinda swipe and hope you hit them.
I have not been too impressed with the MP overall
Suere there is a "Saber only" button, but what about a PROJECTILES ONLY BUTTON!? WHAT KIND OF OVERSIGHT IS THAT?!
Its really deathmatch like, even in team games. Everyone runnign around so fast not know what the hell to do. Whereas in Singleplayer, it was more tactical... ya know what I mean? And whats with the crouch rolling? "Force Crouch roll @ 70km/hour" what the hell is that?
The force powers i nmulti suck! Everyone jhust uses grip and lightning. People have a magical ability to push me over but they always block my push when I use it. It's so frustrating.

I hope someone brings out a good multiplayer mod to replace the existing stuff.

I am pretty much venting.. feel free to vent here as well...
To make a long story short.... If I wanted this deathmatch/limited gameplay... I'd play Regualr HL again!

"everybody seems to be able to one hit me".....seems more like your are being pissed on than pissed off. fight ass-stabbers from a distance. saber throw, or just force push them over and then backstab them yourself. spastically repeating the same move is a weakness, not a strength.

Do not underestimate the pork-side

yeah just as Deadalus

"dont worry dude. I know what its like"
today is day 6 with me on the game, I decovered at the get go, [well day 2 of playing] that I try and avoid the servers that have force powers, since as you stated, seems every one just use lighting and grip, seems no one ever uses their weapons just run around and lighting and griping you. I dont mind the push or pull ones that much. but I dont think those that use the powers of grip and lighting really have any or much skill iin weapons, I thinks they learned how to use the force powers first.
another thing is having the correct keys binded. you can always bind your mouse keys as well of you use key n mouse [something I am sstill working on] every day I come one I learn something new. seeing this is has "II" behind jedi Knight, my guess is this is a second game, and being it is my first I'm like way behind, I could be wrong about that, just guessing.
I have 6 buttons to use on my mouse, so I am still trying to decide to place what on what, I mainly use the keyboard, just for movement, the mouse for my attack buttons, as in which saber style, switching weapons.
I got lucky I guess, yesterday, I finely got some one to teach me some moves, I have read them, how to do them but never got them down, but after some lessons from the person I did improve, very much indeed. but before the lessons were over the sever crashed, and I never wrote the persons name down so I could just searh for them, to continue, but I think I did run into them later, cause I was in a duel server, and was told, " I know your moves, all three of them"
which BTW was the # of moves/tricks I was taught, coinedece hmmmm. but this person that said that was going by a different name in there.
I would say don't get frusterated, and as some of the previous posters mentioned, practice. which one can practice and a different effect will happen in MP. find people to practice with, that is one way, playing agaist "AI" is not always the best but can help. or you can get luck y as myself and have some one work with you teach you, be their Lil Padawan
