Best Saber Fight Ever?
 

What do you think the best Saber Fight was?

Qui Gon, Obi Won, and Darth Maul

it was fast, intense, and just contained a lot of style.

It's the best to me because...this is when the dark side showed it's self to the Jedi and they came out like a Lion....The style and grace of this lightsaber battle...was so perfect...which even the fight it's self was unfolding it's own story...When Qui-Gon met his fate...It stop me dead in my tracks...then when the Bio-Theric Door open and Obi-Wan Stormed out like a flash of lighting....The fight which started out so fast then went to almost a graceful fight...when both men were doing flips and 180 barrel rolls over each other....I will always think to myself that that is the best Duel Ever....

I was also happy with the Double Blade Action....

Always liked empire strikes back's luke vs vader fight in bespin myself. Lots of cool going down there. We get the first real indication of the power of the dark-side when vader knocks luke out the window by force-pushing boxes at him. It also has the first instance of saber-throw (by vader) and the first use of force-speed and force-jump (when luke rockets out of the carbonite chamber).

It was a tough choice but i think the best one ever was the Darth maul and Obiwan/quigon battle. I was also thinking of yodas battle with Dooku, i though that was pretty good but the reason i picked the D vs O& Q was because it lasted a whole lot longer.

I think the lamest fight was the fight between obiwan an vader. I mean, they just kinda banged their sabers togehter a little and when obi wan died, he just dissapeared.

That reminded me of a Jackie Chan movie, it was really good

omg, so what if Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon vs Darth Maul was good. This is what was great. Episode 2: Yoda vs Dokuu...I just loved and laughed at how Yoda was fighting. He's like a midget and was spinning around and jumping all over.

I take back all of my well thought out points. you are right. midgets are funny.

First I would like to say hey to everyone, I'm new here ;) . My favorite fights were Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi against Count Dookoo and the funniest one was Yoda against Count Dookoo. I don't like the ones where it is one against one. They tend to get boring.

Yodo come on we waited for ever to see that but it was too fast

good to see this is gettin far...

let me just say that goose bumps went all around me when maul put up the heat and when double saber
and all those moves and the long time it took to fight made me but jk2 in the first place. and the fact that 3 men went in and only 1 came out. my hair went in spikes(and stays that way)

i think the best saber fight was with Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon vs Darth Maul. two jedi's vs a sith is just freakin awesome! the fight was intense and the battle was long too. i hate short ones like vader and obi-wan in ep IV. i'm hoping for some sweet battles in the next film :)

Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon vs. Darth Maul was the best. It was long, had style, and was very intense. It wasn't 2 seconds long like Yoda vs. Dooku, and that double saber had to top everything else. =)

Actually, there was another, much more definite use of Force Speed, and that was when Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon where fighting the Destroyers in EpI, and Q-G says, "It's a stand-off. Let's go!" They then run off, but at an extremely fast pace!

Also, in EpII, when Anakin uses Force Speed and Force Jump to stop Dooku from kiling Obi-Wan. Also, I think Yoda uses the two exclusively when fighting Dooku. Also, did anyone notice that Vader's sabre - when he threw it at Luke in EpVI - didn't come back to him, but instead powered down, and then Vader just walks down some stairs and then turns it on again, and you don't even see him use Force Pull to retrieve it or anything...

Tough choices...
I like The Luke/Vader fights especially ROTJ but i vote for the one in VI!
Second for me would be Qui-Gon and obi fightin against Maul..

i think the anakin vs dooku sucked. i thought that anakin would use two sabers 4 the whole fight, but he just spins around once and then gets his green saber sliced in half

they ruined the entire anakin part that was i thought was going to be
ONE of the best parts
but i still liked it when yoda came out, whiped out his light saber in the coolest way and just made doku cry and run home to mama
(p.S. they should make some sort of mini mod where you pull out your saber just like yoda)

By far the best fight ever was the classic luke vs vader! it kicks ass!

Yoda vs count dukuu just simply ruled, long fight, intense, yoda little org :P jumped round like a madman, but that wus really cool

Basically it comes to this: the 2v1 fight from Episode 1 was fast and intense and had style in terms of the choreography.

But the fight between Vader and Luke Skywalker had style in terms of the whole atmosphere. Luke knowing he has to face and maybe even kill his own father etc just gave more weight to the situation.

So I vote for the Luke vs Vader fight from ROTJ.
