also Ive had mods and mod wannabes ***** at me about "protectin the children" and gay crap, yet I see your icon of some guy and wonder, what makes you so special that these people dont ***** at you?

This forums are the greatest i've seen and i would love to work here for free.

I've deleted a few double-posts, and the occation spam posts/thread. However, I do remember having a problem with the post editing of the FilesNetwork boards before I was a mod. There was some sort of silly time limit on how long you could go without editing a post. I don't know if it still exists now (can't really test it), but it would cause a problem for people wanting to amend their posts.

It does happen often* what Gizmo said in his second point. I've seen people string about 6 posts one ofter the other just minutes apart. It is possible to merge threads and edit posts and everything which I did when I had time, but when the users themselves have the power it just makes sense to help keep things in order ;)
