Apparently the only thing macs are good for is art applications, although i don't see why cus stuff works fine on pc's but whatever. Yea, if your a gamer your going to want a pc cus few games are written for macs also and if so it usually takes a while for them to come out. And on a personal note, I think the mac os's Graphical User Interface sucks hard, i like rightclick mouses, menu bar's at the bottom, and all the familiar locations of windows things.

ud be surprised, i use both systems, i find macs far better for most casual things (word processing, chatting, listening to music, movies, mail, etc), and windows better for gaming and programs that arent for mac, it just takes a bit to get used to it

Macs loose the compatibility war but as far as interface they win. Due to advances in the mac line up Intel chips have been introduced into new macs, and its possible to run both windows XP and Mac OSX on a maciontosh. You can now alternate between the systems if you take the time to get it to run on a mac. My assumtion of the future is a application which will run windows XP in the background so that You can run windows programs through the mac GUI interface. This, will be quite an acomplishment, and i expect to see it in the next year.
