Laming Clans
 

Ok this has been happening for quite some time. In 1.00, there's this "clan" called "shinobi". Guess what, they're a laming clan.

I know i lame especially in a FFA server where everyone is doing nothing, but who would take laming so far as to start a clan???

They kill ppl with saber down and when questioned why they did it, they spout something like "it's the ninja way to weed out the weakest" or something to that effect.

And they Role play to the max.
I got this guy called Sasuke Uchiha who keeps spouting japanese sounding crap, another guy called Naruto(in that same server) who kept going, "haha watch this sasuke, i'm not going to lose to you."

DUDE!! Naming the clan and the members after some loser cartoon is one thing, but actually role playing the characters and making laming part of their "ninja code" is just plain nuts.........

Anyone else got this problem with laming clans??

Yeah, I have encountered them before but I kinda lamed them and ended up getting banned.:lol:

Why does it matter? It's in the rant and rave section,if you have a problem with the laming threads don't bother to look/or post in them. This guy is clearly just venting..and this does have to do with JKJA...and it's not spam because it's not the same person making multiple topics about laming,or posting to alot of threads with vague and un needed replies. Like if I were to make a topic showing off a new skin..and a guy replies omg thats cool! Then goes to another post and then another one. You get my point, I kind of do not see why you are moderator to these parts forums..if you are anti JO or w/e you call it...

There is really nothing wrong with this post at all...she threatends to lock a post when someone has stated a topic that has already been posted. But you never know there are different opinions to the same topic. I looked at the other laming topics most are very different, most are just telling a story...rant and rave..something to get off your chest about what happens in JKJA..your story about what happened. Whether it be laming or whatever.

:lol: She's a moderator, it's really her final decision whether the thread stays open or not. YOu've made some rather redundant points anyway, why do they need to make another thread on the same issue? They have the same basic problem of laming, regardless of the "opinion or viewpoint" of the person. Rants and Raves isn't Spamming Forum, even if it's not the General Jedi Knight discussion area, you still can't spam. :p

Going back to the topic so this isn't spam...Yes, laming is bad and irritating, but there's not much you can do. Either get revenge on them by beating their ass repeatedly, or find another server.

Lol. That's just insane. By any chance try to send them to Mj7 Server. I'll show them the meaning of weeding out the weak. By the time I'm through they'd wish they didn't meet me :D

This is a thread about laming clans, not about moderation procedure. However we do not need four threads about the same thing - that becomes spam - so if another one crops up I will close and trash it, because we don't need any more. You have four other threads to talk about this in, so it's not as if I'm closing down your thoughts and ideas.

Now please get on topic and stop arguing about this.

Actually I have a question. People keep talking about laming in the servers but I have no clue what laming is.

Laming is a word that can mean a dozen things. Basically it's "I don't like what you're doing, so I'll call you a lamer." It may have originally held more specific meaning, but now it's kind of a catch-all.

People using the term are nearly always talking about killing an opponent who is typing or who has lowered their defenses (saber retracted). But yeah, people love to tell you you're being lame when you do practically anything they don't like you to do in the game.

The previous topics are all about individuals laming or getting lamed.
This one is about insane ppl who take laming to a whole new level and actually start a clan dedicated to laming.

I wonder what othre laming clans are there other than" shinobi".

Heh, you sure weren't :).

I've never encountered a laming clan but it doesn't surprise me that a couple would exist. There are clans dedicated to "honour", which is one way of playing, so there'll be clans dedicated to laming as well. Shinobi seems a little wierd to me but to be perfectly honest, so do most clans :D.

1. yes ive seen them, they are a laming clan (not ffa, just laming) as in target ppl who have their sabers off and start ffaing when attacked. (they have my utmost respect)
2. And its a 1.00 clan, and most 1.00 servers disable force and weapons, jsut pure saber skillz.

I'm going to get in trouble for continuing on this pointless thread, I just know it, but I felt I had to add the following. Most people that scream and cry whiner, also think that Sith and Jedi should bow before a duel. They also seem to have quite the time spelling first-grade words like ''you'' and even phrases like ''you are'', instead relying on elitespeak constantly.

There, I'm done. Haha. Also, in my guild's servers, we do -real- FFA. There is no laming rule. Of course, we get the constant scolding, and even threads made about us here about being a, and I quote, ''lammer flammer clan''. Seems they can't even spell ''lamer'' anymore.

Yes, Alot of them are taking the anti laming rules to a new level by inventing "Lamer police" who turn into "Lamers" themselves. On another note alot of anti laming clans resort to "Admin abuse" to control "Lamers".

Why don't you just make a special Laming and Other clans you hate topic on this forum and make it a sticky so if people have a problem concerning "laming" or clans they "hate" for certain reasons they can discuss it there and anyone who makes another thread about it the thread will be removed??

Meh, if there is one laming clan that needs to be dealt with, Its those 'wraith' foo's. They come into lugormod and forcemod servers and just ruin everything. But they are a bit chicken, and only show up when no admins are around.

But if this topic is removed, i hope that every topic like this is also removed.

i hate your clan. mainly because its full of jumped up retards who dont know their assholes from their elbows (this is all artistically speaking btw). and who never listen to comments of others outside the clan, and thus are doomed to forever suck, since all they ever hear is how great they are, when in reality, they arent, and cos no ones telling them why. they will never improve.

i also hate your clan because its turned you into someone whos entire life revolves around the clan. when in fact you should really just go outside, and take a peek into the wonderous thing called life.

heh, well to those people, I do have a life. I help around the school, i have a handful of fun and loyal friends, and i spend as much time away from my parents influence as possible.

What u just wrote doesnt feel quite right to me. U say that the VaS members are retards... And that is a pretty dumb thing to say, especially when u dont even know them. And that u say such things about VaS, is seriously pissing me off. VaS is not just a clan, no, VaS is more of a community.

I have been in a few clans before, they all died (I blame World of Warcraft). So I was clanless again after the death of my last clan. I started to play JKA when I was bored or was in need of entertainment. But then I came across VaS, found a lot of new friends I could play and hang around with... Hell, we even chat on TS. So u see why Im being just a tad PISSED OFF when u write those stupid things about VaS.

Its not the only thing that bothers me... But the fact that u imply that Buffy doesnt have a life, and that VaS is the only thing she got... THAT might be even worse. Buffy means the world to me, and when I hear some1 say things like that to bring her down I just wanna <Sensored>...

She has strugled to keep VaS alive, and in that... Shes a success. I know that VaS has been through some rough times, yea. But the clan never died... And why ? ...Coz of Buffy. I have seen clans go down when just the slightest things went wrong, but VaS never did.

This might sound a bit corny, but Buffy is a great inspiration to me, aswell as for others. And when some1 says things like the comments Gir just made, its been VERY disrespectful in my book.
