Just dropping in to start reading and for some general convo. I was checking out gaming forums to see what I can see and liked what I saw. I did read the rules and I did read the blurb about that guys sig so hopefully mine won't get removed. I'm proud of my site yes, but I don't feel that I need to spam it I am getting more and more interested in game development and production these days and I hope that one day I can have a role in major game. I used to work dev recruitment for a few different private servers but hope to actually play a role in a major console game. Thanks for having me

lol, I thought for a second that one of the mods replied to the intro with an advert, silly bots...

I would hope that my site was legal only, I don't support piracy and it's not an advertisement, that's my site, my pride and joy. What would you recommend for a sig then if I can't really stick to what I know?

Well, some people put up links to their sites and it's allowed. It's not considered advertising for commercial or membership gains.

Filesharing sites are automatically labeled as being warez as most people use them to exchange illegal files, and even if they don't, places like and such have tarnished legit file sharing sits for a long time.

EDIT: Get a second opinion from another SM or admin about your sig.

nah, it's not that bad, I try to go through once every few days to remove the keygens and movies that get uploaded. I try to use it more as an image hosting site. But the pitch for the site is that it's completely free. You don't need to register to upload files and if you register you get a reserved 1GB spot. I work for a few different webhosting companies and none of them have online storage for their customers so I have this in place for them to upload their DB's and such. btw the happy tree friends pwn

K. The sig is still an advertisement. I took it to an admin for ya and he agrees with me on that.

what if I cut that image in half, then put my email in the sig, that should be pretty legit? Took out the files sharing for all stuff? And the survey says....

and for the record this is by far the longest discussion to date that I can recall about my sig
