Okay here's the situation.
I first bought HL2 when it first came out, I managed to play it for many years without too much trouble.
I have now just decided to start playing it again, but there's one problem.
You see when I first installed HL2 I installed it to my F drive. Since then, the HDD that had the F drive partitioned on it broke down and I lost 3 of my drives. So now my "Add/Remove Programs" list says that both HL2 and Steam are installed on my F drive, but my F drive no longer exists.
I put HL2's disc into my disc-drive and as the window popped up, I was expecting the first option to be "Install Half-Life 2". Instead, it was "Play Half-Life 2". But if I choose this I get "Windows cannot find "F:\games\valve\steam\steam.exe". I then tried to uninstall HL2 but got "Error 1327. Invalid Drive: F:\"
So I want to play HL2 but I cannot uninstall it so I can install it again, if that makes any sense.
Hopefully someone here can help me out, I'd be so greatful as I have been working at
Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2 Downloads - FileFront.com for a few years now!
EDIT: Nevermind, I looked around the web and I just had to change the letter of the disc drive to the same drive that the game was installed on (F).
Thanks for letting me ask for help here anyway!
