Textures missing? please help

Hey guys,

I have this weird problem on some maps of all my source games, including counter-strike and hl2.

What do you guys think this is? How can i fix it?

It looks like you dont have some files.Try reinstalling the game,that should help.

its probably something like that cuz about 2 months ago I had no problems but then i had to format my computer and i had to reinstall everything up and then these problems started, im gonna give it a try, and btw how do I uninstall the games? in steam right-click on the game name and select "delete local content"?

Yes, thats how to delete it. If you installed from CD after the format, the disk may have been damaged somehow, by scratches or whatnot. So try just downloading the game. If steam knows you own HL2, it will let you download it, regardless of how you initially bought it.
