WHAT THE POOP?! help with customs!
 

:( ok, im not a n00b,I NEED HELP PLZ! i know how to install custom shit and all.. like

path/Valve/Steam/SteamApps/usernameXXX/half-life 2/hl2, then the correct folders whether it be models/maps/sounds

etc..
but when i goto my hl2 folder, its empty there is nothing in there, all my folders in steam are empty, but i can still play hl2, dm, css

anyway, im trying to install antlion_troopers map, so in my hl2 folder i created the "/maps" folder
the archeive allready had sound&map folders anyway..

BUT WHEN I GOTO MY CONSOL WHEN I LOAD HALFLIFE2 and try to load the map, i get a red error script saying that its not there, i dunnoi wtf, everything is where it should be.

same goes for some custom models i was trying to put in, same shit doesnt work, and i dont even have a deathmatch folder and i have death match

PLEASE I REALLY NEED HELP because I DONT KNOW WHAT THE HELL!!?!?!!?!??!?!

IT WORKS AGAIN NOW ALL YM FOLDERS HAVE FILES IN THEM AGAIN

i had to reinstall everything which took all god damn fucking day, but what im worried about is iff they will dissapear and get fucked up azgain
