How can I crank up the map download speed?

hi everyone. first time posting.

the map download speeds are incredibly slow on our server. we have it pointed/redirected to my ftp site that downloads maps for our Call of Duty UO servr at speeds of up to 600k (i've seen it higher). anyway...we have tried everything, and are still looking into it, but can someone tell me what i need to do to get downloads at speeds that are close to what we get on CoD UO? or at least out of the 'i'll be back after this downloads' range? it impacts our traffic and sort of kills the interest sometimes. thanks sooo much.

bty: our 'group' was founded in CoD UO but now most of us play HL2 Deathmatch...we have a blast. thanks so much for any help.

Well, whats you internet connection? I know a DSL line gives you alot more bandwidth for uploading and more freedom to use it.

Have you tired switching FTP sties? I wonder if you can do it off of File fronts, I get up to 250kb/s on there
