More Graphic problems: Discolored Textures
 

Is anybody getting this graphic error? I havent found anything about it and that´s why I decided to post it here.

I believe this is not related to my system´s specs, I´ve installed an old Geforce 4 MX 440 and I get no issues while running the game.

I would apreciate any help. Please let me know if you need more info.

i have had that happen to me when cs:s came out with beta everyonce in a while that would happen.!does the colors look like that in the game?

Update your drivers if possible, if that doesnt help the only thing I can think of would be reinstalling...

I´ve downloaded the latest catalyst drivers.

Nothing is overclocked (card nor PC)

Yes, the game looks like that :(

I´ve reinstalled the game, its the downloaded version, I had the coupon that came with the card.

That wierd, seem like its only the textures for objects and not walls etc.

What does the water look like?

Which DirectX version do you have installed ??

You are running latest ATI drivers, and have re installed the game and it's still doing it?
At that point then try deleting the video drivers, rebooting and reinstalling them.

What directx version is it ingame? If its 9.0 try typing"mat_dxlevel 81" in the console.

i had a problem close to that messed up textures on objects when playing the game then last week my card gave up working:( so i put in my old gforce 440 no problems now but im still getting a new x800 after xmas.:)

When I do the stress test in CS:S and it show the textures rotating around instead of a texture is says error. Steam also says that a update is needed for it but I have just updated it and it says that it is 99% acquired. Why is this and does anyone else have this problem? I have a AMD 2600+ 512mb of ddr ram and a Nvidia Quadro 4 980XGL. Half life 2 runs fine but counter strike does not. :confused:
