Dragonball Z - Source

Hello, I am new to these forums but not new to PC gaming.

A fellow video game fanatic and myself are striving to create a Dragonball Z mod for half life 2. Having played ESF, the popular dragonball z mod for half-life 1, although we enjoyed it, we are looking to create something different.

While using the Dragonball Z universe and characters, we are hoping to create both a hand to hand combat and long range attack multiplayer modification. Why don't we just play ESF you ask? Well we are trying to make a more involved and fun way of the hand to hand aspect of the game, simmilar to such games as jedi knight 2, where more acrobatics are involved, and striving for a more elegant method of fighting. Not only that, but the cool thing about dragonball, is that their is many different fighting techniques, stances, special moves..etc. Much like in an online rpg, where the player gets to customize his or her player in terms of style, pose, and actual special moves itself. Not only would the player pick his or her fighting abilities, another thing we are trying to accomplish, is a character customization, whereas the player can choose between a vast array of classic dragonball z characters, OR he or she can create one using a small character customization tool, picking race, gender, body size, facial features and clothing.

Many different multi player "games" could also be spawned from this, good vs evil team matches, free for all, tournoments, last man standings, and as well as a "Evil" player being granted more power and skill level than several other players, whome all have to work together to destroy the main villian.

This mod has endless possibilities, especially now that source is available.
I am a map maker/concept and art designer, and my partner is a web and data based person. We both have experience in modding and created Manowars 3 for jedi knight 2, wich was featured in gamespy monthly in 2003. We are looking for basically anyone with interest in helping us bring our ideas to life, as well as to the mod community. We are open to suggestion and are willing to work hard to bring new ideas to this community.

Well, it wouldn't use any of the dragonball names or logos, and wouldn't be called dragonball.

And if there is already a mod in the works for HL2, can you direct me to a website, because priror to posting I searched the web to try and find one but came up short.

Those mods look more like just a continuation of ESF, we are trying to add more customization into the game. If anyone is interested please reply.
