What does that mean!! Uhh. All it does is create a blank text file.

It means the picture size doesn't make sense.
Good picture sizes:
2 x 2
4 x 4
8 x 8
16 x 16
32 x 32
64 x 64
128 x 128
256 x 256
512 x 512
1024 x 1024

Ok fixed that, now I get this.

Is it a 32 bit per pixel tga? Valid alpha channels?

mine won't compile 32 bit tga's somehow. I used irfanview to convert 'm to 16 bit or 256 collor ones. Which didnt really matter because it were the good ol' doom 1 textures, so it's basicly 256 colors anyway.

I found a program that is a converter (TGA to VTF) I'll post it soon.

You still need the right type of TGAs, though.

True, but for some reason the one I posted works and the vtex included with Hammer SDK doesnt work.

that's weird :confused: . Anyway i got mine working. Maybe it's a bug. You cant run it from the command.com or cmd with a bat file. But you can drag files to it from explorer :( . You need to have steam running though
