Re: Look what i did! Hey id just like to thank you this is a sweet mod its alot of fun. I remember you said to one guy that multi player would suck because it would prety much be first to the bolt gun but if you leaned away from a dm style and went with a co-op thing along the lines of sven co-op or brain bread(mostly for laning cause too many people would make it too easy) say, a friend and I could work together to take on rockv2 or combine onslaught. I think that would be pretty fun..please be blunt tell me if you think im an idiot or if it actually holds some water |
Re: Look what i did! I think its an awsome idea :) . But the problem is i would have to port all the content to the HL2DM solution, probably modify it, then get all the AI working properly. Which i do not have time to do atm. At the end of this month my major college assignment is due in so i have alot of work to do on that. Give it a month or so and i might do it. If you know how to code you are welcome to try it yourself (i could supply source code and help with any coding). |

Re: Look what i did! i would love to, but the only coding i know how to do is some html. i have a big book on VB but im not at a stage were i can produce decent things with that yet. i might be taking a design course(i think its 3d graphics and animation)next year. so i cant really help too much right now, but i would love to if theres any way i can.if you know a tutorial or tutorials on how the code works or how to get that stuff might be done i would be glad to read them and give it a try. |

Re: Look what i did! I dont want to because the mod is really un-polished and people would think i suck if i released it in its current state. Im planning to start working on it again in a week or so to make it a co-op MP mod. If that ever gets made i will put it on HL2files ;) |

At the moment im making a website which explains how to make a load of things in the mod but i cant host the latest version because i *still* cant find a good host :( the 100space one i am using keeps failing the upload at about 4mb, i think you are not allowed to upload 'big' files or something. Its fucked up my site too as i wanted to use a background image but its not letting me. :( I really want to update the mod to make it co-op but im not sure how long it will take to get done :/ |

Re: Look what i did! On my site? thats because its not there :( My god damn host itsnt letting me upload the file, i think it does not allow RARs. I might rename the extension .jpg or .doc and upload it. Then say on the site you have to rename it because the host sucks balls. |
