Somali pirates attacked and opened fire on a tanker in the Gulf of Aden.

Unfortunately for the pirates it was a French Navy ship. With a well armed crew.

Somali pirate error ends with 5 in French brig - Yahoo! News

The French ship turned and gave chase to the two skiffs and captured one with 5 pirates who are now in custody.

Vive la France!

I'm somewhat surprised a large refueling ship was capable of chasing down what appears to be a motorboat. Good on the French though, and stupid on the Somalis. If only all of the pirates made such mistakes.
