The korean war was mostly known as the forgotten war because it was overshadowed by one heroic war and one stupid war. But if you look in your historic things and know anyone who is korean... youll see that the korean war is not a small war. it was a global conflict that did inflict alot of damage to korea.

-Nam Dok Han Hill-
(TRANSLATED) it was a cold day today. we were ordered to take Nam Dok Han Hill. I expected a huge battle in the two big hills of korea. the korean tank army came and fired the first shot into the 1st hill. not much resistance. we attacked. i believed we won but suprisingly the Gong Sang Dang (Communist) knew we were coming and surrounded us in the hills. they fired and had a advantage cause the were at the hills and we were at the bottom. we were ordered to retreat. about 1000 korean men were lost. i dont know about the americans. it was horrible. we were ordered to take the hill again. one person falled back cause he didnt have the right *Shoes* on. they..... killed him for traitorship. we attacked again. they ordered us to not to retreat and use bayonets or anything to kill them. after we took the first hill the tank battalion rolled in. they didnt know that there was a man lieing allive still. he was crushed to death.... we holded the 1st hill until a north korean counter attack was on plan. we holded it but they reached the top of the 1st hill. it was a combat battle. we diodnt use guns we used Tae Kwon do. the NKPA retreated after the american forces came......
