Well it is only speculation... none of this was ever proven was it?

but, i do feel, had America invaded Japan, they would have lost considerable amounts of men gaining control of the country, but it wouldnt have lasted. I think the Japanese were/are string people and would have fought to the last men. it would have turned into an early Vietnam, with gurellia rules.

Anyway this information is not fact, it's only speculations.

What the hell is that supposed to mean? Don't be so insensitive, I am sure they kill plenty of russians because you guys were allies.

wow... 9000 aircraft?
that is strange, considering that the superfortresses and flying fortresses almost flew by themselves in bombing tokyo with incendiaries. Almost as many people died due to incendiaries in few raids as did with the Atomic bomb.

------------

Totally different subject....

OT, but the fact that Japan was ready to die does not totally justify the time and way in it was used. Korean guerillas were preparing to invade Japan within 2 weeks, which was foiled due to the Atomic bomb. Yes, even after japan surrendered the KPR (half ROK, half DPRK) ruled a unified Korea for few months, but thats not the topic, so sorry :p

Denial? How so?

This is only speculation because none of these people are alive to vouch for these speculated stories of what "MIGHT" or "COULD" have happened if the japanese were not nuked. Lets say this story is 100% true and this had happened, the war would have been over anyway even if there were no droppings of the two nuclear weapons, japan could no longer put up a war effort, this is a known fact, not a might or could, this is known. Even if they had 9000 ineffective aircraft and 2 million land lock troops and a dead emperor, they started the war in the first place because they had no oil left, and this is very true for the end of the war as well.

These are the same stories we don't really know anything about such as in germany all sorts of high ranking people were commiting suicide and leaving germany, theres hand fulls of stories that never happened that people like to talk about. What happened to hitler? did he blow his brains out? Does soviet russia really have a fragment of his skull? remember that one? Because I do.

I'm not being insensitive, I'm only saying that thousands and thousands of people die every year outside of their own country every year, and a good amount of those being from foul play.

I was just merely saying that there are still people in Japan who coincide with the belief that Japan should have not given up and fought to the death, not saying that people die outside their country is rare.

I know what your saying, but what I'm saying is that theres no sort of mass group of japanese people who are still bent on making white people their slaves. it's like saying the nazi party in germany is just biding it's time to take over and start up a forth reich.

Just because a jewish person dies in berlin does not mean it was done by the nazi SS.....

But these people are former officers of the Japenese Army who fought in WWII, who are bent on defeating the Americans.

This is all well and good, but as I said so many die each year of foul play outside of their own nation, you could say the same about any of these cases, even if this group claims they are anti-american and did it, if you can understand my point. The same thing is going on in iraq right now, iraqis are killing american and other people.
