| I found this interesting site awhile back, detailing the Eastern Front, mainly from the Soviet's point of view. It has a nice map which shows how the war progressed, complete with pictures, audio clips, and actual videos. Lot of the content on there I haven't seen else where. It's pretty well done. D-day Information General facts about d-day; casualites ect Information on the equipment that the paratroopers carried with them on d-day Information on all d-day landings 24 hour recount of exactly what operations occured on Omaha Very intersting article from National Geographic A d-day/omaha story recounting the landing Information concering the German perspective of d-day Another recount/story of the d-day landings Many articles from many different people associated with d-day Another article/summary about Omaha Beach Eisenhower site, but still provides some nice photos, ww2 era, particularly of LCVP's Slidershow and Photgraphs of D-day, some that are not on other sites, worth a look. Some videos and movies associated with d-day More Photographs of D-day Many photographs/articles/maps and illustrations of d-day, will keep you busy for a while Youtube video, of some d-day footage very good
