Heres a thought,
Look on ebay for a cheap XBOX 360. Then look for a cheap second hand version of Halo 2. Then enjoy it.

Plus, with a XBOX 360, you will get to play Halo 3 later this year. Yeah, you cant download mods for the XBOX version (that Im aware of) but it sounds like the porting of H2 to Vista didnt go so well anyway.

Saves you talking about illegal things and opens up H3 to you later in the year.

(PS: Havnt done that yet. Gonna check ebay now )

I'm not allowed to play Halo(egoshooters like that with blood etc),so I play it without the allow of my parents on PC,and they don't let me buy any consol(Xbox,Wii,playstation etc...),because,they are expensive and need many games till it makes fun.(And some months later,there will be a new one on the market).
Thats why egoshooters should be availid on PC!!!!!!!!Egoshooters on consols are bad,that are saying all my friends and me.
I want to play all games only on PC,because the PC is better(grafic,options,speed and compatibility)

Stormtrooper: Yes I know that Microsoft will probably never see this, but if FileFront doesn't have a thing against Illegal-ness alltogether, that means legal problems, as that is SEEN DEFINATELY (or should be), and it's the same thing for us, FF follows Microsoft's policies, so we have to follow FF's policies (Or we'll definately be kicked, HEEHEE!)!

343GuiltyMC: Chill out taking mic (if you were) of people who haven't got (or can't be bothered to install!) Vista, or, basically, good hardware!
and I installed Vista on another system and found 100% NO BUGS, till this day!
So I personally think that it is actually more secure than XP! (although most of the time I'll just say that Windows has never been anywhere near SECURE!!!!!)!

SuperSmeg: As Stormtrooper said, some people aren't allowed to buy things that make to much money (HEEHEE, I put it in simple terms!!!),
Personally, I am, but I don't want to, my last Console was an N64!, get it!, that was bought when I was about 9 years old, I am more than 5 years older now (But I still LOVE Super Mario 64!!!!!!!!!!!, I have the original and Emulate it all the time on PC)

I agree with Stormtrooper in this respect, I will not buy an XBOX360 or a PS3 or any handheld console because there is 99% no point!, a new one come's out later and sometimes it has backward compatibility so there was never any need to buy the original in the first place (Damn that was a good point!). So I stick with my PC, because half the consoles out there can be emulated with it!

One last point (to those who are still reading!), I am going to buy some more RAM later, but first I need to get my GPU and Motherboard upgraded, so it'll be a while before I upgrade to Vista, but when I do, I'm afraid it'll be another year maybe before someone else attempts to get Halo 2 up on XP the way that I am doing now!

GPU? don't you mean CPU?

and i bout Microsoft Windows Vista tm. and i love it. my compy rates 4.1 with a 2.00 GHZ core solo AMD Athelon x64 3200+, 1 GB of DDR1 Ram, nVidia 7600 GT EVGA, 120 GB 7200+ hard drive and i can play H2V campaign on second to highest res. anti aliasing x2, detail on medium,
fullscreen and get a very nice frame rate most of the time. if you have the right but not the best hardware (i suppose you could also have the best, i don't) you can run vista and H2V just Spiff. by the way, H2V is the best game ever in my opinion. the map editor is fun, the multyplay is CRAZY AWSOME for LAN, campaign is really cool, and the graphics quality is AMAZING.

Very nice.Emulation is very good.I treid that with an PS2 game and it didn't work,because the PC is to slow....I don't know why!... I have 1GBram, 3,8ghz CPU dual core and 256MB graficcard....ATI Radeon X1300
