I got past that error, I see that you actually changed absolutely NO DLL's because with Service pack 2 the first DLL which has a problem is Advapi32.dll, In case you didn't know (I'm not being egged on or anything) Windows likes to reset the DLL back to original as soon as you change a DLL in the Sys32 folder, meaning when you changed the DLL to Vista's, it was changed back the second you pressed Enter!

And to the guy who said sommat about registering Online before installation. Some people actually don't have the net so that would be stupid, in most game installers you can skip this UNTIL you wanna play online.

Thanks for reading, if you did! And Stormtrooper, since you have Vista, can you send me a copy of NTDLL.dll, it's one of the DLL's which I can't find on the net, as I said I got past the Advapi error, meaning it IS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!

The game only allows you to play in Single Player on the first level if you do not activate the CD key. Activation can be done by phone so the internet is not needed. You must activate the key to allow the whole SP campaign and MP.

Sos for Double post but, I just wanna say, anyone who is thinking of changing DLL's, it's best you dont because nearly all DLLs in windows rely on other DLL's. eg. Kernel32.dll requires NTDLL.dll, and NTDLL.dll requires Kernel32.dll! if one is changed, the other probably wont work!

I know what you mean:I took the vista advapi32.dll into windows XP... and it changed back(Vista:764 kbs or something like this size. XP 652 kbs or something like that size)

The point is that he was requesting something that was not alowed by the EULA of Vista (as above), thus making it illegal. Talking about the possibility of making H2V XP compatable if you own a legal version of both OSs and H2V would be fine, but not requesting files that are directly against the Vista EULA.

I learned that from friends and other people in the internet.Microsoft has enought money to balance that losses.(Bill Gates payed 6 or 8 million dollars to aple,I think, like you buy a sweet in the supermarket.I think he had to pay this money,because he didn't allow aple software work on windows.)

Microsoft might sue Filefront, plus we don't want this to turn into a place for greedy Asses who can't even get Vista. If you can't accept the fact that XP is going to be stopped supported in the like 1 year, fine by me. But take your crap somewhere else. I know that Vista uses a lot of RAM, but if you only have like 512 then it shouldn't play H2V at all. Regarding how buggy at Vista it is, well aren't most softwares buggy at launch? And microsoft is a company, all company want more money, it's what they do.
