Are you using an virtual PC?I tried it with that, too and it won't work.

You have to click on:"Custom installation"--->install without starting/playing

Then put all the files to their places from wowloader and join.

I've pretty much accomplished what I set out to do.

Get the source code here: WowLoader-SRC.rar

Did you installed XLiveRedist1.0.6027.msi and vcredist.msi from the \redists dir on the Halo 2 DVD?
Perhaps the newes directX should help you(DirectX9.0c Jun).

Can anyone help me install the game? I used the newest loader, get to the custom install, and click full install and no start. Then it gives me a bunch of "cannot read memory address 0x******". Is there anything I'm missing to install? I even copied the mf.dll to \system32.

This in response to a post written long ago on Page 3. DDR2 SDRAM, 1 gb, does not cost 100 USD. If you go on Newegg.com, you can buy 2 gb's for 60 USD, 667 mhz, with heat spreaders.

Additionally, I am able to run H2V with a 3.4 ghz Pentium D, 1 gb of DDR(1) SDRAM at 300 mhz speed, with a 256mb ATi Radeon 9550, with GDDR(1) VRAM, and running at 400 mhz. Don't listen to the system requirements. I run the game on high quality with no stuttering, but no antialiasing.
