Halo PC problem

Ok, when I try to start up Halo on my PC, it pops up a window saying there is an Exception! It never tells me the problem, and I reinstalled Halo, but it keeps showing up. Please, someone help me. I have a craving to play Halo, but this is keeping me from playing.

Ummmm... are you logged into any IM programs... maybe Xfire? Try logging out, My clan has trouble with Xfire doing that sometimes. Maybe try disconnecting from the internet while you load it all-together and then reconnecting after its open by pressing the windows key to give you access to your PC while still having Halo open.
