all i did is:
1. find you xbox's IP address
2. go to your router's web utility
3. go to the port forwarding section (for linksys: Applications & Gaming)
4. forward these ports to you xbox's IP address:
UPD 88
TCP 3074
UPD 3074
ps* there should be a section to select either TCP or UPD and a seperate section to enter the numbers, you will need two slots on the list, one for the UPD 88 and another for the other two... | Im having the same problem with my mates that live in the same village. I got myself a static IP address sorted but everytime I type my ip into the browser (Im with BT Yahoo in the UK) I get a quick start screen that just keeps refreshing itself for no apparent reason, this really is doing my head in as I cant get to the port forwarding section because of it =/ |
