i have no sound in halo

when i start the game there is absolutely no sound. i have installed the patch and put my hardware acceleration to none and it still dosent work.
My system:
AMD Athlon XP 2000+
256 MB RAM
Nvidia GeForce FX 5200
my sound card is integrated

i have windows 98 and the speakers are pluged in

i have sound in all my other games but not this one. Very wierd.

Do you know which audio chipset your motherboard has? Realtek and SigmaTel are two popular ones. Consult your documentation or check in System / Sound in the Control Panel and see what entry there is for audio devices.

i just installed game on my pc,have intergrated sound and win98 to and there no
sound in the game only at the start up screens. need help ?!!
