Hey joker! I am a halo modder in search of creating a team. However, I do not use the Halo Trial Mod Kit, I use the Torque engine. I will soon be creating and releasing many great mods which I have made from scratch after they are formatted to Halo CE. I am interested in starting an online modding project, so if you are interested, please reply. Oh, and programming for the Torque Engine is very similar to C++ and the modifications are endless.

Care to elaborate how you're going to stuff TORQUE into Halo?
Btw, don't bump old threads =/.

im kinda fimiliar with modding, i remember halo CE for PC, was easy to modd, although i only modded a few weapons im advancing to halo 3, my original xbox is for modding only and instead of live, i have Kai, which lets you play with mods. same deal as live, but its free. although i cant modd halo3 untuil i get another 360 i have already made a few mods for it, but with no tests running idk if they work,
a few modding ideas here
sticky granades can be modded to travil as fast as rocket launchers, and will go just as far, so holding the sniper will help you throw them in peoples faces
or you can have automatic rocket launcher without reloading
oorr.. duel wield the sword .. or the Magnum shoots tank shells?
just a few ideas.
im not very good at modding, but my friend is showing me alot of stuff. so i think im getting better.

And I'd love to run CryEngine 2 or the Unreal Engine in Halo.

And HSC is very similar to LISP. Unfortunately, in conclusion...
Engines. Don't. Merge. Period.

Hello guys? Ever heard of formatting and reformattiong Halo codes to fit engines? It might be illegal but it's quite efficient. The same principle is applied when you get (example) a ps2 game to work on your xbox 360. Moreover, custom tags are easily applied regardless of your Engine. So screw you, because I definitively said that I would be creating new mods and I did not specify which ones. I may choose to apply Halo strings to one thing and I might as well make my own version of Halo that fill in the missing gaps made by Bungie. Oh, and Carto such quotes are irrelevant and I believe you have forgotten the true meaning of modding. To be specific, to transfer such codes over from C++ to Torque you can easily use Ultra-Edit tool 32. While the finished project may have many glitches, you can take the time to patch it later.
for the moment, HimM, I will take your ideas into consideration. While there is no need to apply those tags and physics files to the Torque, I will only use basic 3D graphic tools and Ultra-Edit 3D for I find the objects you mentioned particuarly interesting.
LIVE LONG AND PROSPER!

Okay, you go do that, Noxstant. Meanwhile, we'll be sitting here, making something that might actually be, you know, possible?

I think i'm going to stick to developing my Forerunner game. As for that, I hope to have some player model pictures in a few weeks. The actual game may take longer (i'm thinking about just using TORQUE alone) As for you doompig, when the it is ready, I would be honored to make you eat your words by being the first Beta tester.

Yes, doompig... that quote is from you... posted by you on the runescape thread...
And I'm not entirely sure we should be talking about illegal modding on here btw... Just a thought.
