PM is an acronym (short form) for Private Message. It is used o send another member of the forums a message without giving out your email or other means of real life info.

To send someone an instant message you just click on the desired person's name and then under the category of "Contact Info" you click private message.

Can you rename my Prologue to the HCMT forum to Halo Campaign Mapping Team or HCMT?

Go ahead and close it, for he figured out how to pm me. We will continue whatever discussion we have left there. While you are at it, Zam, (if this is possible) could you rename my Prologue to the HCMT thread to Halo Campaign Mapping Team or HCMT? (would have named it that originally if I would have predicted we would be on our feet so quickly.
