PC or Xbox? I got Halo on the PC a few years ago for a cheap price. When I upgraded to this here PC, the game ran on full like a charm and it was an excellent game. For the last few months, I've had access to a 360, mainly, the one I own, but was wondering what it might be like to get Halo 1 on there (as in, I was thinking of getting the Halo triple pack, being 1, 2 and the 2 bonus online maps, because 2 is the only one I don't own). Is it worth it getting the same again just to see what it was originally like, or shall I make do and stay with Halo PC and Halo 3 360? (I'm not overly bothered about 2. Campaign wise, which is what I care about, it is my least favourite of the trilogy) |
Re: PC or Xbox? If you can afford it, go for it. There's a strange sort of satisfaction of having a complete pack of games for their original console. |
Re: PC or Xbox? PC., its more fun to play with keyboard and mouse., just have an high-end PC., |
Re: PC or Xbox? i think playing games with a game controler tends to be more satitsfying than a mouse and keyboard. it takes more skill. i agree with odessa, if you can aford it, then you would probably enjoy playing it on xbox. a bonus is the campaign multiplayer. somthing im sure you havent done on H1 without the game. :) |

Re: PC or Xbox? i find them more precise but if i cant efficiently use a controler, its more fun. |
Re: PC or Xbox? Both the console and PC versions have their merits. On the Xbox, you have 2-player campaign co-op, which is quite a blast if you have a friend to play along with. On the other hand, Halo PC has far quicker load times, and online multiplayer. Overall, if you're playing alone, go with PC because you can play up to 15 other people online. If you're having a gathering, play it on the console because you can have 4 people on one Xbox in split-screen. |
Re: PC or Xbox? there's lots of advantages to going pc first, you have access to weapons the Xbox version didnt have second, you can upgrade the pc so halo can run with higher detail and third, you have more control over how the mouse and keyboard affect the game, since theres no joystick bounce back |
Re: PC or Xbox? well he has PC but he just wondering if he should get it for Xbox. i think its kinda funny how he hasnt responded since he started the thread. |
