Armor Descriptions

This is kinda random, but I'm looking for the descriptions of all the armor in Halo 3. Not how to get them. In every search I did I typed "Halo 3 armor descriptions" and all I got was how to get them. What I want is that backround information or whatever you want to call it about the armor. It's under where it says "Option 3 of 10" for example. I already have all the armor that you can possibly get without playing online or any kind of multiplayer match. I don't have a gold membership, so I can't play Halo 3 online, but it's best to list their descriptions anyway just in case. I don't care if you type the description yourself, or make a link to another website that has their descriptions, as long as it's exactly quoted from the game. Again, I'm just interested and when they say, and I can't find what I'm looking for anywhere.

Halopedia seems to have a pretty comprehensive section on the armor permutations:

lol well you gave me a little more then I wanted. I've been at Halopedia already looking for those descriptions, but I couldn't find the description they have for the armor types in the game. Unless they do have them in there, but I just can't find them. I'll check these out some time, but right now I just want to see the armor descriptions for them that are in the armor customization screen. Thanks though.

You need to unlock them first. I already said that I have all the armor it's possible to get without playing any kind of multiplayer match. I just need the ones you get for advancing in rank on Live, like the Mark V helmet and ODST helmet.
