WTF We killed each other? Halo glitch

Ok this ting is really starting to annoy me. Sometimes when I melee an enemy they melee me and we both kill each other. No one else is around and it even says, "Player A kill Player B" and under that, "Player B killed Player A". This happens when I use swords, hammers, and even my fists. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

You mean you both melee each other at the same time? How is that a glitch?

Its not a glitch. It happens when you both melee eachother at the same time when you both have equal health.

That's been happening since the original Halo in 2001. It's not a glitch.

I never did play halo or halo 2 on Live so I never got to experience that before halo 3. It's still a little annoying but funny when you see it happen to someone else.

Dude, that's called a simultaneous beatdown. It's like me and you slapping eachother at the same time, life is not going to just randomly pick one of us to let slap the other. lolz

Its not a glitch. It happens to everyone. If you get mad, blame the melee system
