What Brookster wants...
 

A big want this one. The Specialists mod from HL1 converted to HL2. I've recently downloaded it and it is muchos good. Just imagine it with advanced graphics and all those lovely breakable objects!


And on another note. The Havock engine. Say I piled some reasonably heavy cardboard boxes up, if I sent them flying and they hit someone, would the physics allow for that person to be crushed by the boxes but not die? Ie. They'd be forced to the floor and would take damage, but would be able to shrug the boxes off and get back up?

If so Hl2 might actually be a good game (ha ha, like that'll ever happen)

are you being sarcastic. HL2 is going to be the best game! and on another note, i made a post on the havoc engine but nooo no one came expt one person heres the link if you want to come and see....

As for the above (and the direct above too for that matter) it was indeed sarcasm. I'd like to say I've been reading some info on mods in development from a website called city 17, and I must say, they sound amazing but I question wether they will actually come into existance.

Oh yeah, and your shameless plug. I went to the site yestaday and was mightly impressed, mabey I won't have to kill you after all........yes

(is it just me or do I get worse every day that goes by, and why does it always come to spamming! this was a valid thread but now like a scientist who makes a monster to do his shopping, it has gone out of control and havock rages. I wish for the once the Havock that raged was only about half lifes wonderful engine!)

The Specialists is a great mod. But it would be even better with some sort of team capture an object mode (capture the flag)
