Put me up to date
 

Hi everyone... I never really played Half Life 1, I dont know why I must of been paying more attetion to Rainbow 6 anyways that doesnt really matter... I am just wondering if anyone can put me up to date with half life.. Can anyone explain the story line of half life 1 and end off so I am here to present date.. And can you also give me any other facts i should know,(dev name,etc etc etc) cause i hate being a n00b :furious:

its about a mad scientist that made an experiment to try to enlarge his penis, it succeded, but all the other scientists got jelous of his skills, so they formed a team to destroy his forumla and kill him. (you are the scientist)

*sighs* Kids these days! Somebody'll have to set Nigma straight.. though the best way to be in the know is to play the game :D

You are Gordon Freeman, a recently hired scientist going into the Anamolous something something materials lab in the Black Mesa research facility. You make your way down there, grabbing your trusty orange suit on the way, and proceed to begin an experiment. You perform a job which should have been given to a robot.. which is pushing a cart full of unstable material into a high energy beam with hardly any protection. Thing's go wrong.. you're teleported all over the galaxy in a matter of seconds and arrive back where you started to find the facility in ruins and is being overrun by nasty aliens. If that wasnt enough, the military has caught wind of what happened and has swiftly disbatched a team of soldiers to kill every living thing in the area. Your goal is to destroy the big ugly alien guy to cease the invasion of alien creatures on Earth. As the game ends, the G-man explains the situation and that you are now employed exclusively by him and his agency.

I think i missed some of it.. cmon guys, SURELY you played this game. Fill in what i missed eh? It's been awhile :p

thanx, i learnt a bit even though i played it from start to finish. i am not one on picking up stories very well.
