I honestly think Gorden and Alxy will get to the borellis and stumble across a portal and will accedintlly activate it and maybe find Shepard(dumb idea).

I doubt there would be a 'Gordon Freeman' model. All the HL games, you are in the eyes of Gordon and there’s never cut scene. Of course there could be a scene where the G-Man shows you something Gordon did in the past...or something

seeing Shepard would be awesome, and having them team up against the combine. Shepard would have to be stupid (which he is not) to oppose gordon because he is, after all, human.

Ok

1) Seeing as though none of the half life games have ever had any cutscenes or any jumps in time, the game will start directly where episode 2 left off, with Gordon lying next to Alyx, who is mourning after her father. So, the game opening up on the helicopter is highly unlikely.
2) Portal will definitely not be integrated into half life. Their gameplay is completely different from eachother. Portal is a puzzle-based game that is intended to give players a short background for Aperature sciences.(to see what they are really about, go to aperaturesciences.com and type in login, followed by username "cjohnson" and password "portal". A very funny background involving shower curtains.)
3) I think that one or two special weapons will be added into your arsenal, to take up the #6 weapon slot.
4) It is possible that the gravity gun may be destroyed, and it will be replaced with a more powerful variant made by Aperature, and may be similar looking to that of the portal gun.

some more zombie variants would definetly be interesting, but it gets quite tedious and boring fighting them after a while. but maybe another scene like when you had to shoot the fast zombies climbing up the eaves during the ravenholm level.


and btw, a zombie headcrab is an oxymoron.
