Default Looking for Episode One Mods, need HELP!

I don't have HL2 on P.C., I have it on Xbox sadly. Later I found out that HL2 is near recommendation for my P.C. and now I have Episode One on P.C. I'm looking for HL2 mods that will work for Episode One which will change overall gameplay or give me new levels and alike.

Any Suggestions?

Did you try installing HL2 mods into your sourcemods folder anyway?

Try fakefactory, well it replaces HL2 weird techno music with instrumental music seen from movie's like Batman begins,Armegedon, and Pearl Harbor.

Fakefactory also almost completely overhawl the skins for Hl2, making it a more cinematic expreirence.

Its just a suggestion.

I have tried a number of HL2 mods and they don't seem to work too good. The only ones I can get to work are sound mods, and the sounds aren't very enjoyable for me.

And fakefactory from what I know is a very good mod but it takes large requirements for your P.C.

dude, mod are supposed to be for HL2, not for EP1
you mabey can get some replacements for sound, models or textures, but if you want total conversions, just buy HL2

Yeah, but I don't want to spend 50 dollars on a game I already own.

That's not really true, you only own it's expansion pack. Eventhough you didn't need the main game for it, it doesn't mean you can download the mods that are considered by many, as the main thing of Half-Life..

You don't have Half-Life 2. You have 1/2 L1f3 too. The game on the Xbox completely sucked ass and was an insult to HL2. It does not support any mods, multiplayer, mouse, console cheats, faceposer, impressive graphics, NOTHING. 1/2 L1f3 too is worth about $10. HL2 is worth about $100 (but is sold as a steal)

Look, when I got HL2 on Xbox, I thought that my computer would NEVER run a game with graphics that great. So I bought it on XBox figuring that it will run, so I can play it. Anyone who wasn't played HL2 before on any console and plays it on Xbox, will like it most likely. Now that I have played Hl2 on P.C. from the demo, I now know that there is a huge difference between my P.C. version of HL2 and the Xbox version. And I found out my P.C. was in the recommendation zone, I didn't know as much about P.C.s at that time. Sorry for making a mistake that I didn't know I was making, when I look at it now, I really know the differences, the framerate, the graphics, the sound, and the loading times which are slower than the Xbox version.

And here I am now, looking for mods for HL2EO because I don't have HL2 on P.C. and I would like a mod or two, and replying to your message.

So if you have any mods that you know will work on Episode One, I would appreciate it. If you don't and you reply again, I take it that you will be typing more words that are against me?
