I just finished reading the last post on this forum and thought i'd sign up and try to kick start this discussion again now that Ep 2 is out
**Spoiler(sort of if you havnt got ep2 by now)**
after the final battle after you go back to white forest Alyx meets you and says somthing like this "Wow you you were amazing out there. while you where out there having fun i found an old helicopter i managed to get working" then "Come on" in a very flirty voice as she walks toward you and does a little turn
*says what everbody else has said about how alyx has the hots for Gordon*

I think this is true (the whole thread.) Also Gordon is shy towards everybody, not just Alyx. HE NEVER TALKS!

I know this is off-topic but what the hell, the wound on Alyx's right forearm is when Kleiner tried to make Lamaar his pet. Lamaar fled from Kleiner and Alyx happened to be in the way and tried of course to stop Lamaar. But then Lamaar jumped at Alyx and Alyx shielded herself with her arm and Lamaar wounded Alyx quite badly. Thank you very much

On-topic (spoiler warning from E2)
In Episode 3 i don't think Alyx will pay attention to Gordon anymore because her father died in Episode 2, she wants revenge on the advisors. But i don't think she will ignore gordon completely but the same ''loving feeling'' that was in Episode 1 and 2 isn't there anymore.

Alyx will be changed in Episode Three. It's all that we can really predict. And that they will not "get busy" in any regard. That was in discussion at Halflife2.net, and it is not true and very likely won't be done.

As for Alyx being flirty towards Gordon, they're a team now. I mean, you can look at it as a secret relationship in which we all want the two of them to fall into, but the world is a busy place at the time being. Alyx has bonded with the players out of a teamwork way, that's how Valve has designed her in Episodes One and Two. There are brief parts of something a bit deeper than just a friendship, and we may very likely get into that in time. I wouldn't be surprised if we delved into that deeper part in Episode Three, but it is more a questioning of where this will go, more of an understanding that the two care about each other.

Simply put: This won't be dealt with in the soap opera way, or in the teenage high school relationship way. Valve would have to slowly progress it well from a "Batman and Robin" teamwork friendship into a relationship, and then we can go from there. For now, we'll probably have to live with the brief flirting humor.

But this might very well shift quite a bit in Episode Three toward where these two are going in their friendship.

Yeah pretty much. Also, anybody notice sometimes Alyx winks at you in a flirty way when you two both get on the muscle car?

Yeah I noticed that. One time we arrived at the radio tower place, and she said "No One's Home", and then winked at me.

There are some of these "flirty" jokes, and it really just kind of helps the mood and makes Alyx more believable and more likeable.
