Well anways, I wonder why Alyx does'nt forget about Gordon & go to Barney because he can talk & barney is funny.

Hmmm this thread lost its life .

Well I will try to pump life back into it again.

There was two things I noticed about Alyx when I first played HL2 ever; The first thing I thought was...In the HL2 Concept art I thought Alyx as the daughter of Gordon because in the concept art they make her look so young. Then when I play it I learn that she isn't Gordon's daughter & there's something different, She has feeling for him.....I DIDN'T EXPECT THAT!!!!!!!!

The other thing I thought about Alyx when I saw her for the first time in HL2 was that I thought Alyx was half Latina & half black(because of her father) By looking at her mother I thought Alyx was half hispanic. Thought her mother was either Puerto Rican, Dominican, Cuban, Mexican, Argentian, Colombian, Costa Rican, Venezualian, Chilie, or Peru; I was wrong. And to tell you the truth I suck at telling nationalities.

Also The other reason why I thought Alyx was half hispanic was because I have not seen an Asian in my school for quite a while, My school has mostly latino's/latina's & african americans. So because of Alyx mocha colored skin I thought she was hispanic. Guess not

I don't know, I see asians or black people extremely rarely in Poland (I've seen only two asians here to be precise). Still she reminded me of asian mostly because of partially similar skin colour and face shape.

The reason Gordon is quiet is because he is cool and collected. He's playing Alyx just to create more tension. He knows as soon as he gives in Alyx will be all over him. By the way... Gordon went to MIT thats a party school. Believe me He's got expierience...and crabs...

Really Gordon is quiet either because they made him that way or because you are Gordon. It makes you feel more involved in the game when you have your own response instead of the character you are controlling is talking.

Alyx has feeling for Freeman that point is almost for sure and the reason he is quiet is because as Alyx says "A man of few words huh?".

The reason he is quiet is because you don't have any speech commands in the game and there are no cutscenes.

Gordon is quiet cause hes in shock of all of those things that have happened to him or somebody or something cut off his thounge or hes just playing a cool guy(Thats only my theory).
