Half-Life vs FEAR
 

I was wondering what people thought about HL2 and FEAR.
I want to see who like the different things about the two games.
For example: HL2 graphice vs FEAR graphics, or...the what story line is better? give me you opinion!:)

Okay, that is a pretty lame opinion on it. You're allowed to give your opinion but you need to back it up. Show some respect for the game.

the graphics of fear are better....
but i think HL2 is a better game though

I only played the demo of fear but from what I played I like HL2 way more.

Well I think the story line on FEAR is alot better!
But I like playing HL2 more.

Fear is a classic FPS...
In all the wrong ways.
the Graphics are all right but nothing special, the story sucks, the levels design is simplistic yet irriating and repeditive and it just plain mediocre
HL1 and 2 on the otherhand are two of the best games EVER

Half life is better in all ways , no doubt

FEAR gives you chills,FEAR makes you laugh at clone soldiers having their heads blown off,FEAR is a beautiful game,but once you finished it once,there isn't much to do anymore(no mods so far).HL2 is a pretty game,some funny parts(Father Gregorie's insane laughs) but sometimes I laugh at the idiotic storyline,how the hell can a lone scientist with no exceptional firearm training go in a city and overthrown a whole government?(a bit the same in FEAR,but less visible since you are alone with exceptional reflexes and years of training against "only" 1000 cloned soldiers).
like almost all FPS's,they're very linear which for me is rather annoying(I'd rather be put in 1 giant map of a war torn city and be told I need to get across it by any path).
For chills and fun,buy FEAR
for long lasting life(lots of buggy and laggy mods) buy HL2

Compared to COD2 they both suck but they're still really nice games. FEAR has a more realistic style of graphics and are much better than hl2(obviously u people who think HL2 graphics are better have never seen FEAR with the Nvidia 7900 gtx quad sli i needed the fu*king 1000 W for that and a full tower case damn!!) it looks like everything is real when u have everything on in FEAR graphics options and Nvidia software and the cards' special features. Ok but any way HL2 has a better story and it's kinda fun exciting while Fear is fun scary and creapy like RE u know. So which ever one i had enough for both and COD2 and BF2 so i dont give but go ahead and pick one, also HL2 has a better story if u play the first game oh and it comes with CSS but BF2 owns CSS in every single way. Oh and if u get the special edition of FEAR and beat it on the hard difficulty u can get and ending with a paper saying that you were the prototype or original of the clones and that's why u are so special.
