Lost coast?

Is lost coast a new part of half life, I mean that it completes HL2? like HL1 continues HL2? or it is a LAN Game like counterstrike?

It will be a HDR demo which "was originally" part of Highway 17 chapter. HL2 Singleplayer chapter..

The lost coast was cut outta the game than they used it to showcase the HDR it should come any time soon

Before the end of October Valve said, and yes it's just an old level that they decided to revamp to show off a new lighting feature in the Source engine.

Its confirmed that its coming out by end of month it was in a update news on steam when i logged on ;)
