Gordon Freeman = Gman (Gordon-man)

My theory is that g-man is an older version of freeman. Personally, i think that a small group of scientists (similar to the guys from hl1 and 2) and have mastered the teleportation techniques. Then, after realising they can build beyond what chemically impossible, timetravel came into business. Then, G-man (being the older version of freeman) travels back in time to lead his younger self through sticky situations to make sure that the aliens do not take over the world.

I have brought this up before on some forum, i dont remember where. But i am thinking the exact same thing. He has same eye color, and they have the same look.

Gman: "Time?"

i've seen it a LONG time ago... but thats a theory... you aren't sure so you shouldn't say g-man is gordon man... you dont know it... you think it ^_^ other site's are saying that it ISN'T g-man.. but some goverment guy... all different theory's i geus we must wait till HL3

No, I read somewhere that Gordon was supposed to be gman in hl1, but the gamers got it mixed up with who we now call gman.

well, the model is allready named gman. So he's allready called that before the game ever got released
