Stuck in Under The Radar

Have got to the bit where you are trapped in 2 force fields in a farmhouse with a basement. I've killed all the Combines but the Hunters will not enter the house. They huddle together outside the window by the wall out of site. Sometimes one will pop his head round the corner but when he sees you he goes and hides. I don't know what to do as I know they have to come in through the basement to enable you to get past the barriers in the road. Any clues anyone?

Worked it out. Had to shoot into a room beyond the blue barrier to get a few more Combines to come out then the Hunters came and got past it.
