I have the exact same problem. my specs: Core 2 quad 2.4ghz (@2.7ghz) 2MB Memory Nvidia 8600GT WinXP pro Sp2 Any solutions? This is VERY annoying. I cant pass the part where there are sentry guns and I have to crouch. Stupid Gordon keeps on standing up and I get shot.

Well, there surely is some patch on the internet...and if not than you might have some evil virus or it's just mistake during game creation or use the google and perhaps you can find the solution, there must be a fix for it if it's so many people having the same issue.

I had that problem too. It was during the beginning of the game, Gordon would randomly jump up and down a couple of times after I moved him in any direction. Restarted and the problem went away.
