you noticed how they really have character development for some of the rebels, its just like those two rebels you find fighting off the antlions, Sheckly and the other guy

yea the commentaries said so they wanna add more depth in the characters so they have more "life"

kinda make them sound like they were already veterens of war making the whole scene look like a comedy plot =/

Sheckly....wat?.... Sheckly... WHAT!?!?.... Forget it...

the funny part was when Griggs gave u the goodbye speech...

"gordon! be adequate!"

"what the hell was that supposed to mean?"

"i don't know, it sounded like something the vorts would say"

I also noticed that there were some lines that were repeated by different characters like;

"What next in the parade of constant obstacles?" -Magnicin and The Vortigaunt. (although when Magnicin says it , interestingly enough, he says interferences instead of obstacles, this could let you know something about their contrasting personalities)

"Prepare for unforseen consequences." Gman, Alyx, Eli,
I really don't know what this means, but eli said it might have something to do with the borealis.

"Follow Freeman" words often said by the vortigaunts, but also said by the rebels. This is interesting because at the end of HL2 Breen said
"The resistance has accepted a new leader. And you have proven to be fine fine pawn to those who control you. How 'bout it Dr.Freeman? Did you know your contract was open to the highest bidder?"

err themanclaw...... if u read the commentaries in HL 2 episode 2 or some NPC said it (can't remember but its prolly commentary)

they said that the vortigaunts hailed their english language from mangusson so its probably why they say it...

as for the unforseen consequences it isn't repeated =/ not in the sense like the follow freeman one..... it had to be relay-ed
