Can't play on Multi-player!! Help please!

I got the demo of half lifewith TFC on it, i try to play games online and it says i need to update it then i go to update it with the utilites and it says no updates are avaliable. What is wrong? Please e-mail me with the reply! Thanks Paintballr42@mail.com

Erm, I don't think you can play TFC with the demo.
